My name is James Taylor, I'm -- years old. I live with my fiancée and a cat named Sidney in an apartment in the Östermalm neighborhood of Stockholm, Sweden.

I am a Senior Environment Manager at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, working across the Nordic region and have worked for the company for -- years. I work with cross-functional teams across the supply chain to support the delivery of the company's sustainability agenda.

Beyond sustainability and environmental management, I am a big fan of not sleeping whilst watching the New England Patriots in the early hours and torturing myself following Ferrari in F1 and WEC.

I also have a HATRED for sloppy presentations and data visualisations, how hard is it to use the align buttons in PowerPoint? It is a curse for creating quick presentations, but also a source of plenty of laughs.

More about Latitude48

I am often (sometimes, maybe) asked what the name "Latitude48" actually means. Well, it was a genius idea to mix my passions for geography/mapping and racing. Specifically, Circuit de la Sarthe, the home of 24 Heures du Mans. The track is located to the south of the French town of Le Mans, at Latitude 48°N*.

*Well technically, the circuit is located at 47.95°N but saying the site is named after a French labour union isn't quite as "cool".

I've been posting things here and there online since 2010 when I had a hosted site as part of my university studies. However, most of this has been long lost – which is not a big loss for humanity. Everything here has been designed and coded myself; there are no themes, templates, or CMS platforms. Just a Keychron V5, Razer Pro Click, Visual Studio Code, Firefox, and a chronically underused gaming PC.

• Built with Astro using MDX, JS, CSS, and HTML.
• I have a thing for fonts, don't ask me why. It was hard not to sneak a load of Comic Sans in here but, alas, I picked sensibly. So for now, I am using Domine, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono, and Blinker. All are self-hosted Google Fonts, so you can thank me for not sharing your data with Google. 😊
